Active European flagship
Belgium's iconic 4,000-capacity electronic music venue decided its traditional locker system had to move with the times. With Cubby, every guest borrows a locker from their own smartphone — simple, affordable, and easier to run than coins and payment machines.
Pre-Cubby • legacy friction
IKON's previous locker setup had already replaced the traditional manned cloakroom — but it worked with coins and payment machines, and that no longer matched what guests expect: ease of use, affordability and fast service.
Cubby deployed • built for nightlife
Cubby replaced the existing system with lockers at five separate locations spread across the venue, each group running independently. Security sees live occupancy per locker group in the app and can redirect guests to quieter locations to spread the crowd.

Every Cubby deployment is engineered to the venue's flow, capacity and brand — from a few hundred to several thousand lockers.
01 — Nightlife venue

IKON replaced its coin-operated locker system with Cubby: five separate locker locations across the venue, smartphone access for every guest, and full crew control from the admin panel.
02 — Municipal public park
Ghent, Belgium • UrbanCubby solar station
Solar-powered off-grid smart locker station activating community sports and gear sharing (kubb, basketball, volleyball) next to the sports courts — recently upgraded with a Sundo sunscreen dispenser, so visitors can also protect themselves from harmful UV with free sunscreen while playing in the public space.

During a two-month pop-up event at Winterfabrik in Kasterlee, guests stored their belongings safely in Cubby's smart lockers while partying.
